Butch Trinca Memorial Spring Gobbler Hunt

The Central Virginia Chapter will host a spring gobbler hunt for persons with disabilities in Albemarle Co., near Charlottesville.

Applications for all Spring events will be available in early March.

Women in the Outdoors Event

This Chapter will be hosting a WITO event on August 22nd and 23rd. The event will be held at Panorama Farm on Earlysville Road. Activities that we may have at the event are: Archery, ATV Safety, Canoeing/Kayaking, Dutch Oven Cooking, Feather crafts, First-Aid, Fishing, Fly Fishing lessons, Hunting, GPS reading, and Skeet Shooting. Camping Friday and Saturday. 

Mark your calendars now for August 22nd and 23rd for this fun filled event in Albemarle County, Virginia. We are still in the planning stages and as more details are worked out, we will get them posted on our website.

Future Events and not yet scheduled events

A list of hunts that the Central Virginia Chapter will be a participating in, will be listed in the near future.

The Chapter will be hosting three different hunts in 2009, Youth Spring Gobbler Hunt, The Butch Trinca Memorial Hunt (4-18-09), and a Fall Wheelin' Sportsman Youth Deer Hunt. All hunts are in the Albemarle county area.

Also in 2009 the Chapter will sponsor food plots, a youth turkey hunting seminar, and developing a youth NWTF chapter.
